Object-oriented programming (OOP) is a way of organizing a program around objects: bundles of data together with the code that works on that data. Instead of separate lists of names, balances and functions that update balances, you create account objects that each know their own balance and how to change it. OOP is the largest section of PCAP, so it pays to get the vocabulary exact.
