Java 25 finalized two features that make small programs shorter. The first is instance main methods. Traditionally the entry point had to be public static void main(String[] args). Now the launcher also accepts a main method that is not static, not public and has no parameters. The simplest valid program in a normal class is class Hello { void main() { System.out.println("Hi"); } }.
