A backup is only as good as your ability to restore it. Azure Backup offers several restore types for Azure virtual machines (VMs), and each fits a different situation. You start a restore from the vault's backup item or the VM's Backup blade, choose a recovery point (crash-consistent, file-system consistent or application-consistent, with the most recent ones often available as instant restore snapshots, which are fastest) and then choose a restore type. Knowing which restore type matches a scenario is exactly what the exam tests.
