Amazon DynamoDB is a fully managed, serverless key-value and document database that delivers consistent single-digit millisecond performance at almost any scale. Resilience is built in: every table's data is automatically replicated across multiple Availability Zones in its Region, so you do not configure Multi-AZ as you do with RDS. What you do choose is how to handle two other risks: a whole-Region problem, and data being corrupted or deleted by people or bugs. Those two risks need different tools, and confusing them is the most common exam trap.
