Mobile troubleshooting follows the same method as PC troubleshooting, but the tools are simpler and the fixes follow a predictable ladder. From least to most disruptive: close and reopen the app, restart the device, update the app and the operating system, clear the app's cache or data, reinstall the app, reset network settings, and as a last resort back up and factory reset. Knowing that ladder lets you pick the right next step for each symptom, which is exactly what exam questions ask.
