Once a remote is configured, the flatpak command manages applications from it in much the same way dnf manages RPMs. The difference is in the naming: Flatpak applications are identified by an application ID in reverse-DNS form, such as org.example.Editor, and a full reference (ref) also includes the architecture and branch, like app/org.example.Editor/x86_64/stable.
