A generator is a function that produces a sequence of values one at a time instead of computing them all at once and returning a list. You write it like an ordinary function but use yield instead of (or as well as) return. The presence of yield anywhere in the body turns the function into a generator function: calling it does not run its body; it returns a generator object that will run the body step by step on demand.
