Containers fail in characteristic ways: the application inside crashes, the port cannot be published, the image cannot be pulled, or storage is missing, full or inaccessible. The commands from the containers lesson become your troubleshooting toolkit, and the process mirrors ordinary service troubleshooting: check state, read logs, inspect configuration, then look at the network and storage around the container. Examples here use Podman, but the same subcommands work with Docker.
