Before you configure anything under [edit class-of-service], Junos already has a working CoS setup. It defines four forwarding classes and maps each to an output queue. Knowing these defaults matters because they decide how your traffic is treated on day one, and because the exam asks about the names, queue numbers and what they are meant for.
