Performance SLAs (service-level agreements) are how SD-WAN measures each link so it can make quality-based decisions. Rather than guessing which WAN is healthy, the FortiGate continuously probes each member and compares the results against targets. Understanding what is measured and how targets work is central to the SD-WAN part of the exam.
