Automation stitches are FortiOS's built-in way to react to events without a human watching a screen. A stitch pairs a trigger (something that happens) with one or more actions (something to do), so the FortiGate can notify, run a command or contain a threat the moment a condition is met. They live under the Security Fabric section and can act locally or across Fabric devices.
