Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) certifications are Wi-Fi Alliance programs that test devices for interoperable security based on the IEEE 802.11 security amendment, originally 802.11i and now part of 802.11 itself. The network security model is called a Robust Security Network (RSN). There are two families that matter today, WPA2 and WPA3, and each comes in Personal and Enterprise modes.
