Identities are not static. People join, change jobs, take leave, become contractors and eventually leave, and systems and services come and go too. The identity and access provisioning lifecycle manages access through all of these stages. Many organizations describe it as joiner, mover, leaver (JML), and the exam expects you to know the typical risk at each step and the control that addresses it.
