Before anyone approves a cloud project, someone asks what it will cost. Microsoft provides two free web-based calculators for answering that question, and the exam often describes a situation and asks which one fits. Neither calculator requires an Azure subscription, neither deploys anything, and both produce estimates rather than binding prices. The difference is the question each one answers, so learning that question is the whole trick.
