Insights are curated monitoring experiences in Azure Monitor for a particular kind of resource. They combine metrics, logs and workbooks into ready-made views, so you do not have to design charts and queries yourself. You find them under Monitor > Insights, and many also appear on the resource's own Insights blade. For the exam you need to know what VM insights, storage insights and network insights show, and how guest data reaches Azure Monitor through the Azure Monitor Agent and data collection rules.
