Every App Service app gets a default host name, <app-name>.azurewebsites.net, with HTTPS already working through a Microsoft certificate. Production apps usually need more: a custom domain, their own TLS (Transport Layer Security) certificate, backups, private networking and a safe way to release updates. These settings sit on the app's blades in the portal (Custom domains, Certificates, Backups, Networking and Deployment slots), and the exam expects you to know what each one does and which direction of traffic it affects.
