Many companies keep data centers while moving workloads to AWS, so the network link between them becomes critical: if it fails, applications split across both sides stop working. There are two main connection types, an encrypted tunnel over the internet and a dedicated private circuit, and a hub service that ties many networks together. The exam asks you to balance speed of setup, cost, bandwidth, consistency and resilience.
