The AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) lets you define infrastructure in a general-purpose programming language, such as TypeScript, Python, Java, C# or Go, instead of writing YAML. Your code is synthesized into CloudFormation templates, which CloudFormation then deploys. You get loops, conditions, classes, IDE autocompletion and unit tests for your infrastructure, while keeping CloudFormation's safe stack management.
