When an organization moves its applications to AWS, it rarely treats them all the same way. Some are moved as they are, some are improved on the way, and some are switched off. AWS describes seven common migration strategies, known as the 7 Rs. During migration planning, each application in the portfolio is assigned one of them based on its business value, technical complexity, licensing and the time available. The exam gives you a scenario and asks which strategy it describes.
