AWS offers artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) at three levels. At the bottom is a platform for building, training and deploying your own models. In the middle are services that give you access to generative AI foundation models, which are large models pretrained on vast data that can write, summarize, answer questions and more. At the top are ready-made services that solve one task through a simple API with no ML expertise. The Cloud Practitioner exam checks that you can match a use case to the right level and the right service.
