A revision is an immutable snapshot of a container app's version. Each time you change a revision-scope setting, Container Apps creates a new revision with a generated name such as orders--abc123 (or a suffix you choose). Revision-scope changes are anything under the app's template section: the container image, environment variables, CPU and memory, scale rules and probes. Application-scope changes, such as ingress settings, secrets values and registry credentials, apply to all revisions and do not create a new revision.
