The browser is where users most often notice that something is wrong. The exam covers four browser symptoms: random pop-ups, certificate warnings, redirection and degraded browser performance. Each can have an innocent explanation, but each is also a classic sign of adware, a malicious extension or other malware. Your job is to tell the harmless cause from the security problem, fix it, and educate the user so it does not happen again.
