Every VM (virtual machine) uses real hardware from its host, so planning resources is part of setting one up. If you give VMs too little, they run slowly; if you give them too much, the host itself struggles. The exam expects you to know the CPU, memory, storage and network requirements and to choose the right virtual network mode for a situation.
