Networks exist to deliver services, and most of those services run on servers. For A+ you need to recognize each common server role, what it does, and how a problem with it would appear to users. The exam rarely asks you to configure these servers; instead it describes a symptom or a requirement and asks which service is involved or which appliance should be added.
