For A+ you need to understand the generations, how to turn individual radios on and off, what airplane mode really does, and how SIM (subscriber identity module) cards and eSIMs identify a subscriber to the carrier. Many support calls about 'no internet' on a phone come down to one of these settings rather than a broken device.
