An untested continuity or recovery plan will fail in ways nobody predicted: phone numbers change, staff leave, systems are upgraded, and assumptions turn out to be wrong. Testing finds these gaps while the stakes are low and trains people so they know their roles. The exam expects you to know the common test types in order from least to most disruptive, and what each one can and cannot prove.
