Microsoft Defender for Cloud is a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP). It combines cloud security posture management (CSPM), which finds weaknesses in configuration, with cloud workload protection (CWP) plans, which detect threats against running workloads. It covers Azure, AWS, GCP and on-premises machines through Azure Arc.
