Microsoft Entra ID records three main kinds of activity logs, and knowing which log answers which question saves time in the exam and in real incidents. Sign-in logs answer who signed in, to what, from where, how and with what result. Audit logs answer who changed what in the directory. Provisioning logs answer what the provisioning service created, updated or deleted in target systems.
