Global Secure Access is Microsoft's security service edge (SSE) solution, part of the Microsoft Entra family. Instead of backhauling traffic through a corporate VPN and on-premises firewalls, user traffic is sent to Microsoft's globally distributed network, where identity-aware policies are applied. It brings the Zero Trust idea of verifying every request to network access, using the same identities and Conditional Access you already manage.
