Executing is where most of the project's time and money are spent. The project manager directs and manages the work defined in the plan: assigning tasks, coordinating teams and vendors, running meetings, removing obstacles, managing the team's development, acquiring remaining resources and keeping stakeholders engaged. Approved changes are implemented, issues are logged in the issue log and resolved, and work performance data (what was actually done, when and at what cost) is collected so monitoring and controlling can compare it with the baselines.
