Inheritance lets a class reuse and extend another. With single inheritance a class has one direct superclass: class Car(Vehicle):. The subclass gets every attribute and method of Vehicle, and anything it defines itself is added. When you call a method on a Car, Python looks in Car first and then in Vehicle, then in Vehicle's superclasses, finally reaching object.
