Bash is ideal for gluing commands together, but once a task involves structured data, APIs or more complex logic, Python is usually easier to write and maintain. Linux+ expects admin-level Python: reading basic code, choosing the right data type, managing packages in isolated environments and running scripts correctly. You do not need to be a developer, but you should be able to predict what a short script does.
