A stream is a pipeline for processing a sequence of elements: a source, zero or more intermediate operations, and one terminal operation. A stream does not store data and cannot be reused; once a terminal operation runs, calling another operation on the same stream object throws IllegalStateException. The first skill is knowing how to create the source.
