The Collectors class provides ready-made recipes you pass to collect. The simple ones gather elements into a container: toList(), toSet(), toCollection(TreeSet::new). joining() concatenates a stream of CharSequence values; joining(", ") adds a delimiter, and joining(", ", "[", "]") adds a prefix and suffix. Joining an empty stream with a prefix and suffix gives just "[]".
