Cloud Storage is Google Cloud's object storage service. It stores any kind of file, called an object, in containers called buckets. It is designed for very high durability, scales without limits you need to plan for, and is used for website content, backups, data lakes, media, and data for analytics and machine learning. Objects are reached through the console, the gcloud storage command, client libraries or HTTPS.
