The 2.4 GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band is shared by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microwave ovens and many other devices. It is narrow, about 83.5 MHz wide from 2.400 to 2.4835 GHz, which makes channel planning here unforgiving.
