An Ingress describes how HTTP and HTTPS traffic from outside the cluster should reach Services inside it, using host names and URL paths. One Ingress, served by one external entry point, can route shop.example.com/api to one Service and shop.example.com/ to another. The Ingress object is only a set of rules; an Ingress controller reads them and does the actual routing.
