Events are short records that Kubernetes components emit when something notable happens: a Pod is scheduled, an image is pulled, a probe fails, a volume cannot mount, a node becomes NotReady. They are often the fastest way to learn why something is not working, and kubectl describe shows the events related to one object at the bottom of its output.
