Network access control decides who and what may connect to a switch port or wireless network, and what access they receive. Without it, anyone who plugs into a wall jack joins the network. Cisco's solution uses Cisco ISE as the policy server with three authentication methods on switches: 802.1X, MAB and WebAuth.
