Azure Monitor gives you one place to collect logs and metrics from Azure VMs and on-premises servers, query them and alert on them. For Windows Server the pieces are the Azure Monitor agent, data collection rules, a Log Analytics workspace, VM insights and Kusto Query Language (KQL) queries.
