Redis is not only a key-value cache. With the search module (RediSearch, part of Redis Stack and available as a module on Azure Managed Redis), Redis can index fields inside hashes or JSON documents, including vector fields, and run K-nearest-neighbor queries in memory. On Azure Managed Redis you choose modules when you create the cache, so plan for search up front.
