Azure App Service (Web Apps) can run your own container image on Linux instead of a built-in language runtime. You get App Service's managed features, such as custom domains, TLS certificates, autoscale, authentication and deployment slots, while controlling the whole runtime through your Dockerfile. You create one by choosing a container as the publish option and pointing it at an image, for example az webapp create --plan myplan --name orders-web -g rg --container-image-name myregistry.azurecr.io/orders-api:20260914.3.
