The web browser is where users meet most online threats, from fake downloads and malicious extensions to phishing pages. It holds saved passwords, session cookies and synced data, so securing it protects much more than web surfing. As a technician you will install and configure browsers, clean up problems and advise users, and the exam expects you to know what each browser security feature does and, just as important, what it does not do.
